Acceptable Use Policy
This policy lists conduct that is incompatible with Sentro. It applies to your use, the use by anyone in your organization, and content stored in databases connected to Sentro.
1. Prohibited content
You must not use Sentro to store, process, or transmit:
- Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors.
- Content that incites violence, terrorism, or genocide.
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights.
- Content that violates applicable export controls or sanctions.
- Highly sensitive categories (health records subject to HIPAA, payment card numbers in the clear, government-issued IDs) unless your organization has signed the relevant addendum.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other organizations or to our infrastructure.
- Reverse engineering except to the extent permitted by law.
- Uploading malware, conducting denial-of-service attacks, or sending spam.
- Scraping the marketing site beyond the limits in
robots.txt. - Using Sentro to send unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive communications.
3. Customer database content
You are responsible for the legal basis under which the data in your connected databases is collected, stored, and processed. Sentro is a tool — the responsibility for the content does not transfer to us.
4. Reporting abuse
To report a suspected violation, email abuse@sentrodb.com. For urgent law enforcement requests, see /legal/security.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and act to protect users, the platform, or third parties. Actions range from content takedown and feature suspension to immediate termination, depending on severity. Where safe and lawful, we will notify the affected organization and offer a path to remediation.
6. Changes
We may update this policy with at least 30 days advance notice for material changes.
